Is it possible to write theses with you?
Short answer: yes.
Long answer:
Due to the high technical level of our vehicle and its individual components, components with a high level of technological development or simulation effort can be processed within the team in a bachelor's, master's or course work. Through the intensive work on the corresponding component and its design, parts can usually be used over a long period of time and the know-how created by this work can be further used within the team. In close cooperation with various chairs and several industrial companies in the private sector, new networks and technical collaborations are created from which both sides benefit. During the adjustment period, the basic knowledge of our last vehicle, studying the FSG regulations according to which all components must be designed and getting to know the team are particularly important.

What does a typical season look like?
1. Construction
The first step here is to brainstorm ideas, as a new racing car is built every year. This means we are rethinking our latest vehicle and developing solutions to make it even better than last year.
After developing the concept, it goes to CAD. Here, all components are designed digitally so that they can be manufactured later.
At the same time, we are in contact with various companies in order to work together on certain components.
2. Manufacturing
Now the individual components are manufactured, partly thanks to collaborations with institutes at the TU Braunschweig and partly by partners. The entire vehicle is then assembled during assembly.
3. Tests
Now that the vehicle is ready, it's time to test it. Errors can be eliminated, fine-tuned and the drivers can adapt to the vehicle
4. Events
We drive our vehicle to events like the Formula Student Germany (FSG) or the Formula Student Netherlands (FSN), aiming for the highest possible number of points there and having a lot of fun!

Will I incur any costs?
Short answer: membership fee of €24 per year.
Long answer:
In addition, but not obligatory, there are costs for team clothing, team events or, for example, the costs for participation in an event such as Formula Student Germany. However, these are all voluntary and depend on whether you actually use these services. For example, if you don't go to the Hockenheimring for Formula Student Germany, you obviously won't incur any costs.
